Registering for Fast Track to Clearing

If you're looking to study a creative degree course but have not yet received a place, or you changed your mind on where and what you want to study, please get in touch with our team to discuss your future at LCCA. Please see our list of commonly asked questions about the fast-track process below.

Q. I DIDN’T GET THE RESULTS I NEEDED, WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT?

A. Please allow 48 hours for us to process your registration and contact you. If you haven’t heard from us in three days, please call us at +44 (0)20 3435 4642 or email clearing@lcca.org.uk. We’re open 9am-6pm on Monday-Friday.

Q. I’VE COMPLETED THE FAST TRACK TO CLEARING FORM. SHOULD I APPLY FOR MY COURSE THROUGH UCAS?

A. It’s best to wait until we’ve called you to discuss your options before applying via UCAS. If you have not heard back from us and are worried about it being too late to apply, please contact us at +44 (0)20 3435 4642 or email clearing@lcca.org.uk.

Q. I’VE REGISTERED FOR FAST TRACK TO CLEARING AND HAD A CONDITIONAL OFFER. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION OF THIS?

A. We will contact you on Thursday 11 August between 9am-6pm. We understand this is an anxious time, but please be patient. If you have any concerns, call us at +44 (0)20 3435 4642 or email clearing@lcca.org.uk.

Q. THE COURSE I WANT TO STUDY IS NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE FAST TRACK TO CLEARING REGISTRATION FORM, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

A. Not all of our courses have been made available through the fast-track to clearing registration process, please check our website which will show the most up-to-date courses available for clearing applications.

Q. I’M WORRIED ABOUT NOT MAKING THE CONDITIONS OF MY FAST TRACK OFFER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

A. We may have made you an aspirational offer based on the merits of your application and made the offer based on our standard entry criteria. If you have referred yourself after receiving a provisional offer and you do not meet the conditions of your offer, or miss a grade, we will re-assess your application on results day.

We will examine your application with the programme team in the same conditions as Clearing to see if we can still accept you on the course. If not, we will always look to see if we can offer a suitable alternative. Therefore, you do not need to apply again through Clearing if you do not meet the condition of your offer.
