This seminar will cover an introduction into the legal side of fashion such as intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, design rights and more.
Providing information, tips and advice, which are to be applied to fashion businesses. The seminar will cover the basics and will also cover the most important elements of the fashion law. There will be a Q&A session towards the seminar of the event which will give you an opportunity to ask any burning questions that you may have.
The first half of the seminar will be delivered by Jo Gregory. Jo is a Partner at the law firm, Joelson. Jo heads up the firm’s Retail and Fashion Team and advises many young fashion designers in the early stages of their business, especially in respect of the Intellectual Property issues which they face.
The second half of the seminar will be delivered by Stephanie Foy. Stephanie Foy: Stephanie is a Solicitor at the law firm Joelson. Stephanie advises clients in the fashion sector in respect of their contentious Intellectual Property issues, including Trade Mark infringement and Passing Off, Copyright infringement and Design Right infringement.
