Collective Individualism - Fashion Show

Fashion and Textiles students are set to showcase their talent at the LCCA Graduate Fashion Show, presenting an array of garments drawing on a number of influences, from 1980s graffiti and military uniforms, to gaming and gothic tailoring.

Students have been working to develop their skills in fashion design, patternmaking and 3D realisation over their two years of study at LCCA, taught by industry experts and dedicated academics and practitioners.

Individualism is becoming more and more important in today’s fast paced and increasingly generic society and culture, yet we need to work together to move forward and face the challenges presented to us on a daily basis. The title of the show – Collective Individualism refers to this constant in our lives and epitomises how a group of students from multicultural backgrounds have come together to show their individual interests and skills, demonstrated in their graduate collections.

Collective Individualism brings together the strongest and boldest of the vibrant, talented and exciting class of 2016.
