BA Graphic Design students had the chance to show off their hard work at the ‘Work in Progress’ exhibition. Over the last two and a half months, the students have been working on a project called ‘I am a Body’, inspired by the philosopher Alan Watts.
During the project, the students were introduced to a concept for each of the senses, including a haiku poem for sight, a storyboard for smell and a collage for touch. The five senses and their concepts were then encompassed in the students’ final personal publication about themselves.
This was the first time that the BA students have shown off their work. The event was a huge success as many LCCA students and staff attended, as well as industry professionals. One LCCA tutor was even brought to tears when hearing about the content and craft of a student's publication!
