London, 13 November 2020 – London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) has become a member of the Business Graduates Association (BGA), an international membership and quality assurance body of world-leading and high-potential business schools.
As a sister organisation to the Association of MBAs (AMBA), BGA accredits business schools based on their impact on students, employers and the wider community, in terms of ethics and responsible management practices.
LCCA has been accepted as a ‘Bronze Member’ and has been granted an ‘Education Membership’. This is exclusively structured and tailored to give schools the tools they need to gain a competitive advantage to help them serve students and employers.
Dr Kate Armstrong, Head of College at LCCA, said: “This is a great achievement for our institution. In recent months we focused on developing a new approach to education in the creative arts, supporting students in these difficult times.
“By joining the organisation, we will be exposed to a variety of different experiences and insights within the industry from around the world. We believe this will be crucial to our future development and to gain an international mindset.”
LCCA joins an international organisation of more than 100 like-minded institutions. As a BGA member, the institution will benefit from dedicated resources and services including consultation and mentorship, as well as accessing networking opportunities with other members.
“Being accepted by BGA is a clear confirmation of our efforts and an important recognition from the industry. Now, we look forward to making the most of this resource for the benefit of our students and to give our contribution to higher education on a global scale,” added Dr Armstrong.
